First Church Now has ONLINE and MOBILE Giving Using Tithe.ly
Giving to the church using Tithe.ly is super easy! We now offer a number of different ways to give, which we’ve outlined below.
#1 – Give on the First Church Website: GIVE NOW
The recommended way to give is to go through our First Church’s website. Find the “GIVE NOW” button at the top of the page where you can give using the Tithe.ly platform. The form will pop up, and all you have to do is fill out your information. There are several drop down options, so you may even donate for a specific area, like Memorials or the Building Fund. The key to doing this the first time is to give first, then set-up your account second. If you save your account information with a password and PIN, you will be able to sign-in each time you want to give and not have to retype your banking or card information. There is a fee for giving online, and you are given the option of paying the fees yourself or not. If you decide not to pay the fee, the church will still receive your donation, the amount you gave minus the fee. You may also set up your account to be “recurring” so that your funds will be paid on a regular basis without having to go through the process each time.
#2 – Mobile Giving
Want to give to your church using the convenience of your smartphone? No problem! Download the Tithe.ly App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Once you’ve downloaded the app, create an account or log-in, locate your church: First United Methodist Church Lenoir, and tap “Give Now” to complete your gift! The main difference between donating on the First Church website and the App is that on the App you have to create your account before giving, and the website you have to give first, then save your account information.
#3 – In-Service (Cash/Check)
Yes! We still accept giving during the worship service in the form of cash or checks.
