I’ve been enjoying the crisp fall weather this week. It makes me feel like it is really Thanksgiving. And that holiday is only a week away.
This coming weekend is really big for us. We will partner with Christ as we serve 120 local families who are in need on Saturday. I learned yesterday that we have completely underwritten that effort with extra contributions from you totaling more than $3500. That is amazing! Thank you for responding to our calls for gifts to meet our community’s need.
Last week, we all received a stewardship letter and estimate of giving card in the mail. On Sunday, in both services, you will have the opportunity to join me in placing your estimate of giving card in an offering plate. (There will be extra pledge cards available in each service.) Then, as we remember God’s promise to bless us for being generous with our offerings to Him, I will pray a prayer of blessing for you and your family.
God has been so good to us over these challenging years. And we have responded in faith.
God will bless you richly during this season. Watch for His presence in your life.
