First Church Family:
What a wonderful Sunday we enjoyed this past weekend! God’s powerful presence is stirring in our midst.
So often church pastors and staff members dread the holy season of Lent and Easter but not for reasons you might imagine. It’s because we feel unworthy of representing the LORD of all life in the magnificent ways that He deserves.
Please pray for us during Holy Week, which is ushered in this Sunday with our one Palm Sunday service (which includes our Disciples’ Last Supper Tableau.)
Thirteen men from our church will be sharing the message of the Gospel in powerful ways through the Last Supper drama. And I can truly say that every single one of us will be out of our comfort zone doing it.
But God will work in and through us and among our incredible musicians and worship leaders on Sunday (in the one worship service that begins at 10:00AM in the Sanctuary.)
I look forward to knowing that you are there, though I might not be able to “see” you because I won’t be allowed to wear my glasses (because they would take away from the authenticity of the Tableau.)
